Halls of residence at the training center of the Baden-Württemberg Regional Finance Directorate in Schwäbisch Gmünd
During their theoretical training, trainees have the opportunity to rent a room in the dormitory of the training center in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The training center has several accommodation buildings. The dormitory rooms are generally only allocated with full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the canteen of the training center. It is possible to stay over the weekend (canteen closed).
Accommodation buildings:
All accommodation buildings offer single rooms with integrated bathrooms (shower and toilet). In addition to the usual furniture, comforters and pillows are provided in the rooms. Sheets, comforter covers and pillowcases are provided if required. Residents must bring their own towels and tea towels. The maisonettes are occupied separately by gender.
In houses C, D and E, several rooms are combined to form a maisonette (comparable to an apartment). There is a lounge/kitchenette with fridge in each maisonette. Houses F and G have a large common lounge with a kitchenette.
Canteen:
Meals are taken in the canteen.
Common rooms:
Most of the common rooms in the accommodation buildings are equipped with a television. The common rooms can be used daily until 22:00.
Parking lots:
Limited parking spaces (free of charge) are available in the Schießtalstraße public parking lot.
WLAN:
Free WLAN is available in all accommodation and classroom buildings of the education center.
