Anti-corruption coordination group

Since 1996, the state government has taken increased measures to intensify the prevention of and fight against corruption. For this reason, the Council of Ministers decided on October 8, 1996 to set up the "Anti-Corruption Coordination Group" - KGK - at the Baden-Württemberg State Office of Criminal Investigation.

The Ministry of Finance is also represented in the KGK as a permanent member.

The task and objective of the KGK is to ensure and expand cooperation between all authorities and agencies involved in preventing and combating corruption in the interests of effective action against corruption.

Tasks of the Anti-Corruption Coordination Group

The task and objective of the KGK under the leadership of the LKA is to ensure and expand cooperation between all authorities and agencies involved in preventing and combating corruption in the interests of effective action against corruption. To this end, the coordination group shall in particular

  • Develop and update recommendations for the prevention of corruption and evaluate recommendations that have already been issued,
  • Support the possibilities of inter-agency investigation teams to combat corruption,
  • Established contacts with the management of major projects in Baden-Württemberg and provided information on measures to prevent corruption,
  • Inter-agency training events and official meetings are designed and organized and appropriate teaching material is made available.
